FedEx Platform Account Launch




Shippo is thrilled to announce that we are the first multi-carrier shipping solution in the U.S. to offer discount FedEx® shipping services to merchants natively within our platform 🎉

FedEx is one of several core carriers that powers e-commerce shipping in the U.S. and overseas with their extensive network and reliability. In an effort for FedEx and Shippo to further support e-commerce businesses of all sizes, Shippo now offers special discounts on FedEx Ground® Economy labels and FedEx® International Connect Plus labels for shipments originating from the United States.

Here’s what you can expect:

  • Cost-effectively ship low-weight, small to medium-sized products through Monday-Sunday with FedEx Ground Economy.
  • Ship international packages that are low-weight and small to medium-sized in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • No residential surcharges added to the labels.

Shipping Insurance Terms Update




Effective today, we are making some changes to our insurance terms with Shipsurance. Here are the major points:

  • Mobile phones can now be covered! Up to $5,000 per package, signature confirmation is required
  • Guns and firearms (including ghost guns and 3D printed guns and kits for any gun or firearm), and hemp-derived products and products that contain cannabidiol (CBD) can no longer be covered
  • New definition: Recent Invoice and Recent Appraisal means an invoice or appraisal dated within 60 days prior to the shipment date.

Spend Analytics v2




Thank you to all the users that submitted feedback for the v1 release of Spend Analytics. We think you'll like how the v2 release looks! In addition to Label Spend, you can now analyze the Number of Labels and Average Price Per Label on the Net Label Spend tab. You can also group by day and select custom date ranges for more granular reporting. Finally, we overhauled the experience so it loads a lot quicker while refining the usability.

Print Collated Labels and Packing Slips




Save time and frustration matching labels to packing slips with our new collated print formats. With collated printing, you can download and print labels and packing slips from a single, sequentially ordered file.

To update your print settings, go to Settings, then click Labels & Packing Slips or visit our support article on label settings to learn more.

Automatically Assign Sender Addresses




Professional plan users now have the ability to automatically set an order's sender address based on a recipient's address or other order details — e.g. item SKU, name, etc. Ship from multiple locations with confidence knowing Shippo will automatically assign shipment details based on parameters you've set for your business.

Introducing... Automatic Shipment Insurance




Save time protecting your shipments against loss and damage with Automatic Shipment Insurance. Our new automatic shipment insurance option lets you add insurance coverage to all shipments or those above a specific value. When Automatic Insurance is enabled, Shippo will still allow you to remove insurance from a particular shipment during label creation.

To enable this feature, go to Settings, then click Insurance.

Max Insurance Coverage Increased to $15,000




You can now add insurance coverage to shipments up to a maximum value of $15,000. See our Shipping Insurance Options in Shippo article for details.

Ahead of the busy holiday shipping season, we've been working hard to streamline your shipping experience.

We're excited to announce our New Orders Page, designed to help you fulfill orders faster and save time managing your bulk orders.

You can visit our Help Center for a full overview of the changes, but at a high level we've made it easier to:

  • Customize your selected orders view
  • Get a better summary view of your orders
  • Streamline your views – no matter how complex the group of orders
